Fall Break

This year for fall break we went north with the Chipouras family. We stayed at their Lake Ann family cabin and spent our time between there, Traverse City, and Mackinac Island. Traverse City was beautiful and we walked up and down the main drag while there, ducking in and out of shops. Mackinac was about a 4 hour drive away and then we took a ferry to get there. It wasn't too cold of a day, so we spent a lot of time walking around the island, having a picnic, and sampling as much free fudge as we could (and lucky for us there was a fudge store every 20 feet or so!). Addie really enjoyed playing with the Chipouras' dog Jasper, and in the evening all of us had fun playing Mexican train. It was so fun to get away and enjoy the beauty of fall in Michigan!
