We met while attending Brigham Young University when we were partnered to be Sunday School teachers at our Church. I initially thought Alex was a little obnoxious and he wasn't interested in dating a college freshman, but we quickly changed each others minds. We ended up running into each other on campus one day at the end of January 2009 and Alex asked me out on a date. I found out later that he had written a "to-do" list earlier that week and one of the items was to get my phone number! We were inseparable since our first date, dated for the rest of winter semester, and then we each returned home for the summer and did long-distance for about 2 months. In June 2009 I went out to visit Alex for a weekend and he proposed! We were married in the Salt Lake Latter-Day Saint Temple on August 22, 2009 and are loving every bit of our life that we are building together. We both graduated from BYU, with Alex majoring in Psychology and myself in Nursing. Alex is currently enrolled in Law School. We had a little girl at the end of June named Adelaide Grace. We call her Addie for short and she is the cutest little baby ever! We are so excited to be parents and for all the new adventures that lie ahead of us.
